A 10km casual run with boozy stops along the way
I suppose we’re a “run club”. Treating running as the vehicle and beer as the destination. Every 4-6 weeks we plot a new route (or revisit a favourite) through high-volume boozy precincts of Melbourne. Setting out for a 10km HIIT run, the “intervals” being stops for a pint and a chat at a pub every 2-3km. Low pressure, social and built for people who want to move their body, meet new people and end up with a good story. Not chasing PBs, just chasing immaculate vibes.

Meet the host
Moved to Melbourne as COVID hit and have been stuck here ever since. Have established a great network here but as friends have started families and gotten serious, I have not. So I joined Butter to magic new friends out of thin air and it’s been great. I hate running. But I enjoy beer. But I enjoy not being a fatass, so running to get said beers feels more guilt free, and better done with company!
