This is where the best stories start. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to actually get out of the house and do something that doesn’t involve a screen, this is it. We run monthly Mahjong nights, and it’s basically the high-energy, analogue reset we all need.

I started No Flowers to reconnect with culture, community, and a game that always felt a little taboo growing up. · Perth

I grew up watching my grandfather play mahjong, but it was always off limits to us as kids, so it carried a bit of taboo for me. I only learnt to play more recently, after talking with friends about reconnecting with our culture, and started No Flowers as a more open, welcoming way for people to come together around the game.
