We’re a monthly potluck for people who cook. Every gathering has a theme - a Sandwich Swap, a Cook From Your Culture night, a Farmers' Market Social - and every guest brings something homemade to share with the table. An evening here moves between dish tastings, wine from around the world, recipe swaps for the community cookbook, and the occasional DIY pickling station. There’s raffles, sponsor treats, and long-running debates about how to nail every dish. If you’re a home cook, passionate about food or a private chef, baker, caterer, or food founder, this is the space for you. So come solo, bring a dish that tells your story, and you'll leave with new recipes, new people to cook for, and probably a tonne of leftovers.

I’m a lifelong cook. When I moved to LA from New York, the first thing I went looking for was people who get excited about food the way I do. Cook Club LA is that table. Once a month we gather around a them, like a Sandwich Swap with a DIY pickling station, and everyone brings something they made themselves. We taste, we trade recipes for our community cookbook, and we debate (lovingly) what actually counts as a sandwich. The people who pull up a chair are home cooks, private chefs, bakers, caterers, and CPG founders - plus plenty who’ve just landed in LA. If you cook, or you want to be around people who do, come hungry.
