I started this community because I know exactly how it feels to land in Australia on a visa. Figuring out rent, jobs, paperwork, and friendships all at once? Absolute chaos 🙊. From the first flat inspection to those 2am visa form freakouts, it’s a mix of excitement, homesickness, and “what am I even doing?” energy. I remember the chaos, the homesickness, and the moments of doubt, but also the little victories and the joy of finding my place (figuratively & quite literally). That’s why I started this community, to create a space where anyone on a visa can share their story, swap advice, celebrate wins, and feel less alone. It’s about connection, support, and helping the next person feel at home, just like I wish someone had for me.
