Moka Craft Club
A new series of creative afternoons and nights around Sydney
For anyone who loves making things by hand, slowing down, and meeting new people. We host creative afternoons and nights where we explore a mix of crafts (from hand embroidery, cross-stitching, and bead weaving to textile art, sewing, badge pin making, paper crafts, upcycling projects, and playful blends of digital and analog design) You can expect: ★ Monthly and weekly workshops ★ All tools and materials provided ~ just bring yourself (and maybe a friend). ★ A friendly space to unwind, experiment, and reconnect with the joy of making. We believe in sharing skills, learning through doing, and leaving room for mistakes. Making together, without pressure, can be a simple way to build connection, and change. Open to anyone who wants to make, learn, and be part of a community built around creativity.

Meet the host
We began moka studio in 2020, focusing on custom hand-embroidery as a way to recycle and give old garments a second life. while embroidery remains central to our work, we’ve evolved into a studio rooted in craft, circularity, and responsible design, offering functional accessories made from second-hand garments, deadstock fabrics, and locally sourced materials. Moka is also a space for learning and exchange, where we offer workshops in upcycling and hand embroidery that support repair culture and nurture creative skills. recently, we took part in mind pop up at melbourne fashion week 2025, a showcase of local designers dedicated to circular and regenerative fashion.
