A social club for switching off, having fun, and finding your people.

This is your chance to ditch the burnout, grab a bevvie (coffee, cocktails, whatever floats your boat!), and connect with awesome like-minded peeps who actually get it. Think good vibes, fun activities, great conversations, and the high-quality friendships we all deserve! Our events will include : The kind of "off-duty" moments we all need such as : • THE SOCIAL SCENE: Happy hours at hidden city bars, cozy brunch spots, and long-overdue venting sessions (minus the therapy vibe). 🍹☕️ • THE CULTURE FIX: Chill afternoons at art galleries or museums, low-key book swaps, and movie nights. 🖼️📚 • A BIT OF MOVEMENT: Relaxed Pilates or yoga sessions, beach picnics, and the occasional round of mini-golf or bowling. 🧘‍♀️🌊🎳

Hi, I’m Maliha the person behind Off Duty. 👋 Originally from Pakistan, I moved to Sydney by myself at 19 without knowing anyone. More than 7 years later, I’m still here and very lucky to call this beautiful country my permanent home. 🇦🇺🤍 I’m a full-time social worker, so I know how real burnout can be. Life can easily become work, home, repeat but we don’t live to work. We need fun, connection and something to look forward to. That’s why I created Off Duty: a welcoming space to get out, try something new, meet like-minded people and hopefully leave with a new friend or a great story. Sydney has so much to offer, and I want to help bring people together to experience it. 🌊📚🥂 So far: beach book swaps, Christmas in July & drinks at the bar and we’re only getting started! There will always be a seat at the table for you, no matter who you are or where you’re from. Just bring your lovely self. 🤍 This is Off Duty, I can’t wait to welcome you!
