to the movies

going to the cinema from time to time, in these trying times.

this is a seriously dedicated space for those who really just want to go watch movies at any given point. there are no expectations, no tricks, and no pressure to attend the plans! i have been so used to going to the cinema on my own as a favourite past time and it would be nice to harbour a safe space for people to come along and watch along. at the end of the day, at least one person will be watching something and that will be me 🙂‍↕️ also, we always get ticket stubs moving forward. from a personal standpoint, i would decide on a film specifically or go with the flow to watch anything that is out and people can just join along in this space. i usually frequent either Cinema Nova, Lido and HOYTS as there is easier access to cheaper tickets on their discount days. whether it’s a blockbuster or a cult classic, the point is to just watch anything. can go for food or coffee or just yap about the film before and afterwards too, we’re all flexible.
