to the movies

going to the cinema from time to time, in these trying times.

this is a seriously dedicated space for those who really just want to go watch movies at any given point. i have been so used to going to the cinema on my own as a favourite past time and it would be nice to harbour a safe space for people to come along and watch along. people can show up along to the sessions or not, the point is that this is completely up to people’s preference (at the end of the day, at least one person will be watching something and that will be me 🙂‍↕️) ideally from a personal standpoint, i would just decide on a film specifically or go with the flow to watch anything that is out there and people can just join along in this space. i usually frequent either Cinema Nova, Lido Cinemas and HOYTS as there is easier access to cheaper tickets on their discount days. whether it’s a blockbuster or a cult classic, the point is to just watch anything. can go for food or coffee or just yap about the film before and afterwards too, we’re all flexible.
