Women in Chess Club

A social space for women to learn and play chess together, all levels welcome.

Join our community of women passionate about chess, whether you're picking up a piece for the first time or you're a seasoned player. We host regular meetups focused on friendly games, skill-sharing and building connections in a supportive environment. We aim to offer a range of events in the coming months, from relaxed social games nights (with drinks and snacks), to more learning opportunities to learn chess strategies, improve skills and host mini tournaments. All in a relaxed atmosphere with support provided to help you learn the basics if you’re brand new to chess. All events will be held in venues close to Sydney CBD.
