Come for the chaos, stay for the new friends! 🎉 My Friend Ron Social Club is all about fun, low-pressure ways to meet people — from Social Olympics and Amazing Races to op-shop balls, social crafting days and whatever weird idea we come up with next. Expect good vibes, questionable team strategies and plenty of opportunities to make some new friends! Generally our events follow a similar format to the below: ⏰ First 15 mins - Come say hi! We’ll welcome you, get you checked in and introduce you around:) 🕺If a team event this is also the time you’ll meet your fellow teammates 🎉 The main event kicks off! Expect fun, low-stakes challenges and plenty of laughs 💬 Once the main event concludes there’s time to have a snack and freely mix with all of your new friends! We generally meet around the North and Western suburbs with events in the CBD as well:) Our events usually range between 10-50 people depending on the activity. We can’t wait to meet you!

My life changed when I met a man named Ron. He made me realise that community is not what it once was and loneliness is something we have to constantly run from. So I started My Friend Ron, initially a podcast that has expanded into hosting in-person events and exploring what human connection really means. I love people and somewhat ridiculous fun things which are basically the pillars behind the My Friend Ron Social Club✨
