Book club 🤝🏽 apartment cafe

a book club, technically. once a month i bake too much, pick a book, and invite 30 strangers into my apartment. coffee, wine, cake, a long table. the kind of conversation that starts at the book and ends somewhere completely different. you don't have to finish the book. you do need to have an opinion — vibes and spark notes count. nobody leaves on time. very proud of this. 30 seats. once a month. always sells out.

I moved back to Melbourne after 5 years and had to rebuild my community. Making friends as a adult is weird, because nobody wants to make the first move. But nonchalnece isn’t something I’m good at, so I’m actively building my village around me. Forcing people to eat is my love language, and the only thing I love more than reading and baking is yapping. So morn is the intersection of everything I love. Hopefully you’ll love it just as much as I do.
