Book club 🤝🏽 apartment cafe

Once a month I bake too much, pick a book, and invite 15 strangers (some that’re now mates!!) into my apartment. We yap for hours, nobody leaves on time (very proud of this). You don’t have to read/finish the book, you do need to have an opinion (even if it’s based on spark notes or vibes). Limited tickets - once a month.

I moved back to Melbourne after 5 years and had to rebuild my community. Making friends as a adult is weird, because nobody wants to make the first move. But nonchalnece isn’t something I’m good at, so I’m actively building my village around me. Forcing people to eat is my love language, and the only thing I love more than reading and baking is yapping. So morn is the intersection of everything I love. Hopefully you’ll love it just as much as I do.
