Between Worlds Social Club

A social club for millennial third-culture kids

This is a social club for millennial third-culture kids and expats who grew up between worlds and cultures. Have you been to more schools than birthday parties you got to celebrate in one place, or moved cities so often you lost count? Made new friends and said goodbye to some every term? Maybe you grew up having to start over multiple times because of your parents’ jobs, or you moved here for uni or work and stayed. You call Melbourne (or Australia) ‘home’ for now, but you don’t completely fit into the lifestyle… and yet don’t fully belong anywhere else either. We are building a ‘third place’ to connect with others who share your curiosity, your love of culture, and your taste for books, art, food, ideas, and thoughtful conversation. We’ll be hosting monthly social events and activities so you can meet like-minded people, and feel at home, even if “home” has always been a little in between.
