What we’re about
A relaxed, early-morning tennis group for people who like to start the day moving. My regular tennis group can't play mornings often, so keen to find folks who thrive at first light and enjoy a hit. We are keen to play when folks are available from Monday to Saturday from 6.45 - 9am, rotating courts around Melbourne’s north, with Kew Tennis Club as a regular base (i'm a member, so easy bookings, no/low court fees). Times are obviously best suited to those with flexible working arrangements, but all are welcome for however long they can stay. Open to intermediate players and/or confident beginners, the focus is social rallies, mixed doubles, and getting a hit in before work rather than ultra-competitive match play. This is an inclusive group with a no dickhead policy. Be encouraging, patient with those less experienced, and play for the love of the game. Low pressure, good energy, finish with coffee + chats. Start your week right, and your mornings even better.
