what the hell even is pickleball
Once you’ve gotten over how absurd the name sounds and are willing to meet/discover community, come on over! This funny little sport has brought me a lot of joy and community, and now that I’ve moved down under from SF, I’d like to bring some of that joy here. If you have any kind of racquet sport experience, even if it was a decade ago, you’ll have loads of fun the first time you play. If you’re an absolute beginner, you’ll pick it up in no time. I’m hoping to share my love for the game, make some friendships, and get some recurring games going. I don’t want to be too prescriptive on the vibe, but I generally like to have a good time. Depending on the group, we can do coffee, drinks, or dinner after - or nothing at all!
