What we’re about
We love meeting new people, and showing them our faves. Each month, we’ll focus on a different genre; could be romance, mystery, thriller, sci-fi or fantasy etc. We focus on the best of the best; classic literature, weird books and strange stories - the messier, the better. And we think life is too short to read a dull book, so we’re here to help you sort the treasures from the trash. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month. Usually around 6pm at a local wine bar. It’s a cosy place where you can chat about your fave books over delicious food & drinks. Our book club has a very relaxed atmosphere. We start with the book and then often move onto other things - other books we’ve read or want to read, our fave TV or movies, local events or concerts.

After spending a year travelling the UK, I came back to Melbourne wanting to fix my attention span and brain rot from being on my phone too much. I figured reading would be a great remedy for that. And I’d get the chance to meet a bunch of smart, fun women who also love to read.
