Slow Burn Society is a cosy little corner for readers who love emotional storytelling, unforgettable characters and romance that takes its time. We’re here for the tension, the longing, the plot twists and the fictional heartbreak, without the pressure to read super spicy books to fit in. If you love clean fantasy, romance and slow burns, you’ll fit right in. SBS is a judgement-free space for all kinds of readers. There’s no pressure to finish every book of the month, life gets busy and reading slumps happen. We’re here to enjoy stories together, not turn reading into homework. Members are accepted on a permission basis as we hope to keep SBS a smaller, cosy community where everyone feels comfortable and included. We’ll meet at the end of each month to discuss our current read and choose the next book together. Meeting locations will be chosen based on what’s easiest for members to access. Slow Burn Society is currently intended as a women-focused space/community.
