UN Day Party! 🌏🥳

Fun over cultural potluck and games 💚

This year, UN Day marks 81 years since the official creation of the United Nations! 🥳 Of course, as with any administrative body, the UN does have its set of flaws. Oftentimes, it takes major events like a pandemic to reinforce the importance of public health, which we may otherwise take for granted. In this same manner, I do wonder what the world would be like in absence of the UN - would governments naturally pull themselves together on matters like AI 🤖, public health 🏥, and climate change 🌱? Anywho (+10 pts for enduring my ramble).....I'm sure I'm not the only one who celebrated UN Day growing up 👀 If not, expect good food 🥘 cultural games 🎲 and amazing company 🥳 Here's what we ask of everyone attending: Prepare ONE potluck dish from your country / cultural heritage 🥙🌏 Dress up in your local / traditional attire 🥻👘 (BONUS) Bring along a cultural cards / board game 🃏🎲 Date: Saturday, 24th October 2026 Time: 6:30 - 10:00 PM Venue: Southbank Kindly RSVP if you're keen ;)
