Between 29 and 31 May 2026, Federation Square is hosting a daytime market where local makers, small businesses, and food stalls set up shop along Swanston and Flinders streets. Casual vibes, great opportunity to sneak a few hours of strolling around and checking out local businesses in Melbourne.
Expect stalls selling handmade jewellery, fashion, home décor and other curious finds, plus music, coffee and enough delish options to make indecision a legitimate pastime. It's the sort of place that suits a relaxed day out, a bit of casual shopping mixed with meeting creatives or just discovering local talent while avoiding doing anything too strenuous.
