Memory in the living room - open conversation

Sunday, 11th August, from 4:15 AM

What to expect

Zikaron BaSalon, or ‘Memories in the Living Room,’ is a grassroots initiative to remember the Holocaust in an intimate and personal setting. Dita Gould, a Holocaust survivor, will share her story, followed by an open conversation and Q&A session. The event is at my living room in a casual setting - the idea is resembling a conversation with a distant relative after lunch. This event is for 20-34 years old. Short Overview of Dita: Dita Gould, born in 1933 in Vienna, Austria, is a Holocaust survivor who, as a child, hid in the SS headquarters in Budapest with her sister. After the war, she moved to Australia, where she became a prominent art gallery owner and philanthropist. Dita regularly shares her story to educate others about the Holocaust. Her memoir, “The Girl in the Lion’s Mouth,” details her experiences and resilience.
