Mariah Saad is an Australian lawyer and the Founder and Director of Fashion Law Lab™, an education platform dedicated to shaping the future of fashion law in Australia and creating pathways for the next generation of fashion lawyers.

Splitting her time between Australia and New York, Mariah specialises in brand protection, intellectual property, luxury fashion and commercial contracts, and has worked with some of Australia’s most prominent fashion brands. Her perspective is also informed by firsthand experience as a fashion founder, having launched her own label, Lonely Is My Happy, before pursuing fashion law internationally.

Mariah completed the Fashion Law Institute’s program at Fordham Law School in New York and has since spoken at Fordham Law and worked to strengthen connections between the Australian and international fashion law communities. Through Fashion Law Lab, she brings together legal education, industry insight and community to make fashion law more accessible in Australia.
