It’s in the Bag - Charity Packing Party

Girls Who Boss is a supporter of Share the Dignity - a charity that (amongst other wonderful action) provides essentials such as period products to women living in domestic violence shelters at Christmas time.

Each year at this time of year, Share the Dignity runs their It's in the Bag drive, which encourages donations of the essential products that will be gifted.

We're bringing together our community to help expand our impact, through a packing party.

Here's how it works:

Step 1

Head to the supermarket before the event to grab some essential products from the following list:

• Period Products
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on preferred)
• Soap or Body Wash

Step 2

We encourage you to bring along something special to add to the bag - perfume, skincare, an uplifting book. This isn't required, but it's a nice additional step.

Step 3

Come along to our packing party, where we'll pack bags and then the Girls Who Boss team will deliver them to a collection centre. On the day, we'll have a card making station so that you can include a hand-written card within the bag.
