Disability Dinner Date
For those doing disability differently
Hi, I’m Sam. Since getting a disability diagnosis and starting to use a mobility aid, I’ve found it surprisingly hard to find my people. I don’t really fit the traditional support group vibe, and I’ve never loved spaces where disability is the first, biggest, and only headline. So I’m making my own. Who it’s for Disabled and chronically ill people (and those supporting them) who want connection without leading with diagnosis. People who are smart, funny, interesting, and want community that feels normal and real, not medicalised or performative. What to expect A private dinner with gentle hosting and conversation prompts. Nothing clinical, nothing forced, and no fixing. You can share as much or as little as you want, and passing is always welcome. Location to be finalised!

Business owner who spends far too much time at home in her Oodie & desperately needs human contact... Hi 👋 I'm Sam! I am: An avid sourdough baker, dog & chicken mom, fiancee, wine snob, outdoor lover, introvert, coke zero connoisseur, reader... and much much more. Guilty pleasures: Real Housewives, pistachio ice cream from Piccolina.
Attempting to slow down and build things in a world that loves to move fast and break things. I love comedy, photography and random adventures.
