Hosting is not logistics. It is not the right number of chairs or a beautifully set table, though those things matter. It is the feeling a room holds before anyone has sat down. The quality of light. The temperature of the welcome. The way a glass is placed - with intention or without. Mesa opens its practice in this workshop: the art of creating a table that feels lived in before the first guest arrives. From tableware to atmosphere, from the first detail to the final touch - this is hosting as a creative act, not a performance. June 2pm - 4.30pm _________________________________ A KAFÉ WORKSHOP KAFÉ is a two-week residency where café curated by Mesa and Racine, bringing together food, design and craft through the quiet ritual of the café. During the day, the space operates as a café, in the evenings and on weekends, the café transforms into a space for intimate workshops and creative activations, inviting guests to gather, learn and participate in the art of making and hosting.
