I’m heading to Spiderbait at the Forum and thought I’d see if any other music lovers wanted to kick off the weekend with a relaxed pre-gig catchup. Plan is simple: meet nearby for a drink, food or just a quick hello, have a chat, then head over to the gig. No pressure to stick together the whole night. Just a friendly face before the music starts and a chance to de-stress after a long week. I’m a primary school teacher, animal person, board-game lover and nostalgic music tragic. I’m a busy primary school teacher settling into a new chapter in Melbourne and trying to be more intentional about making friends, trying new things and doing more of what makes me happy. I love good conversation, animals, nature, walking, board games, birds, good food, and deep-diving into topics I find interesting. I can be a bit quiet and reserved at first, but once I feel comfortable I’m silly, honest, thoughtful and very much up for a proper conversation.
