First Diwali away from home?

Hiii everyone!! 🪔💗 This is going to be my first Diwali away from home, and I really don’t want to spend it sitting alone in my room 🥹 I’m guessing there are a few others in the same boat, so I thought why not get together and make it a little special? Also, I have way too many ethnic outfits that deserve to see the light of day hahaha 😭💃 I was thinking we could all dress up in our favourite ethnic fits, meet somewhere cute around Melbourne, take loads of pictures, walk around, chat and get to know each other! Nothing too formal or set in stone yet! I mainly want to bring together a little community of people who are away from home this Diwali. Once we’ve got a group, we can figure out a fun plan together, whether that’s a photo walk, grabbing food or something else entirely! Come solo, bring a friend, whatever works! You definitely don’t need to know anyone beforehand. And even if it’s not your first Diwali away from home, you’re more than welcome to join! 🫶 Let’s make Melbourne feel a little more like home this Diwali! 🪔
