Masons Falls Circuit Walk
Winter is here! Let’s chase waterfalls!
Join me this Saturday morning for a peaceful group hike through Kinglake National Park. We’ll be walking the Masons Falls Circuit, a beautiful 6km forest trail that takes us through lush bushland before reaching the Masons Falls viewing area. The walk should take just over 2 hours at a relaxed pace including time for breaks, photos and a stop at the falls. Along the way, there’s also a chance of spotting some local wildlife such as lyrebirds, wallabies and maybe even echidnas if we’re lucky. There are a few hilly and uneven sections along the way but overall it’s a beginner-friendly hike and a nice one if you’re keen to get outside, meet some new people and start the weekend in nature!

Meet the planner
As one of the many Melbournians who survived covid, I saw firsthand how the isolation and border closures impacted people’s mental state. Inspired to make a positive change, I started sharing easy and accessible adventures close to the city on Instagram to encourage people to get outside and explore their own backyard. The page quickly grew and I now travel full-time sharing adventures to hopefully inspire others to discover the natural beauty of Australia!
