Palestine Cultural Festival 🇵🇸
Celebration of Culture, Art & Community
The Palestine Cultural Festival returns to Melbourne for its 10th year, celebrating the richness and diversity of Palestinian culture, heritage and traditions. A full day dedicated to Palestinian creativity, featuring traditional and contemporary music, dabke dance performances and workshops, Palestinian food, art, traditional dress and cultural activities. Beyond the celebration of its cultural heritage, I think events like this are particularly meaningful today. They offer a chance to connect with a culture, appreciate its history and traditions, and recognise the importance of preserving identity, community and cultural expression. My idea is to spend the evening wandering around the festival, exploring the different stalls and performances, and simply letting ourselves be inspired by the atmosphere, without following a strict schedule.

Meet the planner
Just arrived in Melbourne for the next 6 months and honestly still figuring out my way around! I’m here to explore, meet new people and make the most of the time I have. I’m more into long walks, hiking, coffee, movies and spontaneous weekend trips than crazy nights out. Looking for people around my age (late 20s–mid 30s) who are also up for exploring the city, going on little adventures and hopefully becoming actual friends :)
