Weekend paddle on the Yarra 🛶🦇

I’m planning a super relaxed kayak/SUP pals on the Yarra/Birrarung this Sunday morning (28/12). No racing, no pressure, just mellow paddles to enjoy the river with the company of the flying fox colony nearby. Weather looks to be just right, but if more are available this Sunday please let me know, so I change the date :) Time: 10:45am Location: Bellbird picnic area, Kew (free parking there) https://maps.app.goo.gl/8dw98Q5Db9XXy8vy9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy Plan (flexible!) 📍Launch from designated kayak/SUP launch spot at the car park ➡️ paddle upstream to Fairfield Boathouse (grab a coffee if we’d like) ➡️ cruise back downstream to Bellbird It is quite a short paddle, but it’s my first time going on this route so keeping it simple. if there’s energy for more, very happy to keep going- as long as everyone’s comfortable of course ☺️ BYO kayak/SUP, I’ll be bring my inflatable SUP so will have my manual pump with me.
