The Bay Trail & Beach Cleanup
Planned by Nathan Sawaya from Melbourne Hike ClubWhat to expect
Start your weekend the best way possible
To celebrate Earth Month, I’m teaming up with National Geographic and 3184 Beach Patrol for a special community hike this Saturday morning! We’ll be starting in Sandringham at 7am and walking the Bay Trail through to Elwood before joining 3184 Beach Patrol for their monthly beach clean up from 9am-10am. Afterwards, we’ll head off for some breakfast nearby! Earth Month is all about environmental awareness and action so this felt like the perfect way to bring people together for a beautiful morning outdoors while also giving back to our coastline. 📅 Date: Saturday 18th April ⏰ Time: 7am-10am 📍 Location: Sandringham to Elwood ↔️ Distance: 9km one way 🥾 Difficulty: Easy 🎟️ Price: Free If you’d like to walk back to the car park with me afterwards you’re more than welcome to, otherwise there’s also a bus back to Sandringham if you don’t feel like retracing your steps. There’s limited spots available so grab your ticket!
