Hello all! I've recently moved here from Sydney, where I was a member of a couple of writers groups. I'd love to start one here now that I've settled in Abbotsford. 👉 ABOUT THE GROUP A writers group that meets every month in/near Abbotsford, to share our experiences as writers and work on our craft. 👉 ABOUT THE FIRST SESSION Our first session will be pretty chillaxed and social, while I figure out what format suits everyone best. I'd love to find out what everyone is struggling with most as a writer! Is there a technique you'd like to learn? Are you struggling with procrastination? Do you want feedback on your work? Would you like to self-publish, but don't know where to start? Whatever it is, I'd like to prepare future sessions to help us break through those barriers together. 👉 ABOUT LIAM I'm a writer and designer born and raised in the suburbs of Sydney. I first published a self-help book on Wattpad when I was 15 — and I dare not read it... I can only imagine what sort of drivel I thought was insightful back then! Now I'm 25, a little more weathered and haggard, and currently working on an adventure novel. I'm 3 years in, the first draft is complete, and I'm restructuring it ready for a second draft. 👉 ABOUT YOU You're a writer of any kind, looking for fellow writers to connect and learn with. Whether you're working on a short story, a novel, a poetry collection, a memoir, a non-ficion work or something else entirely... if you put words on pages, you're welcome here.
