Have been wanting to do this loop walk! Will be going Sunday long weekend morning, but thought it'll be better as a shared experience! Meet: Blairs Hut Picnic Area Carpark, Clobinane (off Murchison Spur Road). Time: 10:30am Duration: 1 to 2hour moderate loop. Distance: 3.4kms Difficulty: Intermediate (Grade 3) with some steep, rocky sections. Pace: Relaxed pace Bring: Backpack with Water, Sturdy hiking shoes, Snacks 💦🥾🍫 Dog-friendly: Pets welcome! Conditions: The track can be slippery in wet conditions. History: The area was named by explorers Hume/Hovell in 1824 because they couldn't see Port Phillip Bay due to the dense forest, hence Disappointed 😅 The access road to the starting point is a bumpy dirt road & 4WD vehicles are recommended. The Mount Disappointment Summit Walk is a 3.5 km, 1–2 hour moderate loop near Clonbinane, VIC, starting at Blairs Hut Picnic Area. It traverses tall forests and fern gullies, with panoramic, forest-top views. See you on the Trail! 🤙
