The Bluest Eye! - First Meet Up

Looking to meet book lovers who are interested in reading more diverse authors (my personal goal) . Would love to have people to discuss and ponder with. I have chosen the Bluest Eye from Toni Morisson to kick off, because its my fave. However there is no pressure to read the book as its the first meeting. Would like to meet everyone and have a discussion of our faves. Also, open discussion on how to go forward with the club. Anyone who wants to discuss the Bluest Eye, I would love to yap endlessly about it. Hopefully, weather is on our side. I will be setting up a small picnic with a couple snacks. *Please looks up the content warning for this book, very heavy themes in this novel*
