🥾 Hike #2 — Steavenson Falls & Tree Fern Loop, Marysville As promised, here is a waterfall hike for everyone who showed an interest in the last hike! 📋 At a Glance 📍 Location — Marysville, Victoria 📏 Distance — ~14–15km ⏱️ Duration — ~4.5 hours (incl. short stops) 💪 Difficulty — Moderate 🐕 Dog Friendly — Yes, leashed & socialised dogs welcome For our second group hike, we’re heading into the forests surrounding Marysville for the Steavenson Falls via Tree Ferns, Michaeldene and Red Hill Loop - a stunning circuit that takes in one of Victoria’s most impressive waterfalls. Expect lush fern gullies, towering mountain ash, beautiful riverside sections, and that dramatic waterfall reward at the end. There are a few steeper sections along the way, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended — but we’ll be keeping a solid, social pace throughout. 🐶 I’ll be bringing my dog, so well-socialised, leashed pups are more than welcome to join the crew. ☕ After the Hike We’ll wrap up at Keppel Cafe Marysville for coffee, food, and a well-earned rest. 🎒 What to Bring • 💧 Water and snacks • 👟 Hiking shoes or trail runners • 🧥 A jacket - weather can change quickly here • 🐕 Dog water & snacks if bringing your pup Whether you’re coming solo or with a friend, it’s going to be a great day out with good company and some seriously beautiful scenery.
