Bring a book, take a book.

Give your pre-loved books a new life and take home some new reads at our Winter Book Swap. We'll be at Rose of Australia in Erskineville on Sunday 19 July, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Find us upstairs at the Terrace – there is lift access and the venue is also wheelchair accessible. How does it work? 1. Bring one to three books you've finished reading and that you're ready to part ways with. 2. Place your books on the swap table and browse the other books. 3. Keep in mind that if you come early, more books will be added for swapping as more people arrive. You can use this opportunity to chat to other readers, grab some food or drink and chill out. 4. Take home only as many books as you brought. Come solo or bring some friends. If you come by yourself, a lot of people who come to book swap are keen to chat to new people, especially about books. Or if you prefer to have alone time, that's cool too!
