Boroondara General cemetery in Kew is hosting a winter solstice celebration and I thought it’d be such a cool way to see a cemetery at night (normally closes at 5pm). It is a beautiful historic cemetery with grand mausoleums so i think it’d be a fun night ☺️ Tickets are $11.9 pp, per the poster there’ll be a few activities such as a guided tour, food trucks and fireworks. We can even bring our own snacks, lanterns or tarot cards to add to the vibe. Another option is to grab food/dessert at Glenferrie (a short ride away) if people want to linger longer.
