A friendly, easygoing bushwalk.

Event: Blue Gum Walk (Hornsby)

Time: 9:45am

Meeting Point: Rosemead Road Park, Hornsby (near the playground/trail entrance). A 15 minute walk from Hornsby train station.

Join us for a beautiful hike through the Blue Gum Walk in Hornsby! This 4.5km loop trail offers a fantastic mix of scenery, taking us from lush, tall blue gum forests down into rugged sandstone ridges, creek cascades, and spots like The Fishponds.

Key Details:

- Duration: It will take about 2.5 hours to complete at a steady pace.

- Difficulty: Medium level of fitness required. There are some occasionally steep ups and downs, rough steps, and a couple of creek crossings along the way (you won't get wet but will need to cross some stepping stones).

- What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots, a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water.

Important Notes:

- Weather Policy: The creek crossings can become impassable after heavy rain. Please keep a close eye on the group chat as we approach Sunday. If the weather turns bad or the tracks are flooded, we may need to cancel or postpone for safety.

- RSVP: Space is limited, so please make sure to update your attendance status if your plans change and you can no longer make it. This ensures anyone on the waitlist gets a chance to join!
