Play Date 🎭

Like a book club… but for plays!

Hey fellow theatre lovers or theatre-curious. Classic plays, contemporary plays, obscure plays… oh my! 🎭 Join us for our first Play Date - a casual hang to hear a play read aloud, by the attendees - you! You’re also more than welcome to come just for the listening if you don’t want to take on a character. After the reading, we could discuss themes, characters, potential staging choices, and why a hypothetical production may or may not resonate with a 2026 audience. Scripts will be provided and roles will be assigned on the day. 📍 Location TBD but likely somewhere between Surry Hills and Inner West. Depending on location, it will either be BYO snacks and drinks, or they’ll be available for purchase. 🍟🥨🍪🍻
