Cold Case Interactive Mystery Night
One Murder. Multiple Paths.
What if a cold-case murder mystery played like a D&D campaign or choose-your-own-adventure? I run the Socially Awkward Social Club, which creates fun, structured activities for neurodivergent, socially awkward and generally activity-oriented people—and our next event is an original interactive murder investigation. You’ll work in a detective team of four to six, examine the evidence and choose which leads to pursue. Different teams may take different paths through the case, uncover different information and develop completely different theories. It’s collaborative, low-key and designed to be fun—not intensely competitive. There’s no acting, costumes, role-playing, preparation or compulsory mingling. The mystery gives everyone something concrete to focus on, so conversation can happen naturally around the activity. Come alone and we’ll place you into a team, bring your partner or a couple of friends, or bring a full group of four to six and make your own detective team. 📅 Sunday 23 August 🚪 Doors open at 6:30 pm 🔎 Investigation begins at 7 pm 📍 Uniting Church Hall, Northcote 🎟️ Tickets are $15 Bring your dinner, drinks or a snack to share. BYO alcohol is welcome, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen at the hall. I’ve listed 12 places through Butter, but marking yourself as going here does not reserve a ticket. Please book through Humanitix to confirm your place: https://events.humanitix.com/cold-case-interactive-mystery-night-socially-awkward-social-club
