Regional Victoria Day trip?

hello 🙂 new to Melbourne! (From Sydney) I was meant to start uni next week (13th of July) but they made an administrative error and i now only start in 2 weeks grrrrrr ANYWAY now I’m thinking of going on a few day trips over the next two weeks to visit some cute regional Victoria towns. Just wanna go to towns that have art galleries and shops/cafes and maybe a pub for lunch. Don’t have a car so I’m planning on taking the train. Planning on going monday, Tuesday or wednesdays only (13-15, 20-22 of July). If anyone’s in a similar situation to me and around my age (25) pls let me know and thank me could be a fun day out! I don’t know how to use this app but let’s see how this goes lol
