What happens when you look a stranger in the eyes?

Most people have no idea, because we never do it. On Sunday the 23rd of August, the first edition of our in-person eye gazing event will launch, and you're invited to find out.

How it works

Simple: you sit across from someone and hold eye contact. No talking, no gestures. Just presence. After a few minutes, you switch partners. Talking happens afterwards, and it does happen. After sharing silence with someone, conversation comes surprisingly easily.

What to expect

Honestly? It depends on you. Some people feel nervous laughter, some feel deep calm, some are surprised by emotion they didn't see coming. What almost everyone reports:

• Feeling more present and grounded than they have all week
• A mood lift that lasts well beyond the evening
• Real connections. Many participants leave with new friends

No experience needed. First-timers and regulars sit side by side, and the format works for both.
