Make a beautiful brooch and friends!
Join artist and designer Kitiya Palaskas for a playful hands-on workshop in collaboration with Shop Gal by Tara Whalley, where you'll create beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handmade brooches to add flair to your favourite outfit. In this accessible, beginner-friendly making session, you'll choose from designer, vintage and deadstock fabrics and specialty haberdashery (including special charms, ribbons, buttons and tassels) to create something truly unique and personalised, inspired by upcycled accessory trends and vintage jewellery collections.
Learn 3 different brooch-making techniques and make as many as you like within the workshop time!
Every participant will receive a goodie bag, and access to special fabric remnants from Tara’s own beautiful fashion collections.
Location: Upstairs @ Shop Gal, 248 Johnston St, Fitzroy (Melbourne) - right near the 86 tram!
