Group Weekend Camping Trip - Clonbinane 🏕

First GROUP CAMP over this weekend!! 🏕🌿🌿🥾👣☀️🏕 Join us for a peaceful camping experience amongst the beautiful trees at Clonbinane/Mount Dissapointment and surrounds.

Weather expected to be good currently: Saturday 22°C Partly sunny (with low chance of rain in the afternoon) and Sunday 23°C sunny throughout ☀️🌿✨️

📅 Dates: Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th October

📍Location: Clonbinane (near Wandong/Strath Creek).

*Precise location given upon sign up and in designated whatsapp group chat. Arrive anytime on saturday to set up camp and settled in.

🏕 The campsite is free, with spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. There are drop toilets available on site, but BYO toilet tissue. No rubbish bins on site, take all rubbish with you please.

💲An attendance fee is added to group to increase commitment to the plan and to use funds towards purchasing woodfire, kindling & firestarters for the communal campfire (with potential marshmellows) 🔥🪵

Places limited to 12 participants to create a more intimate, thoughtfully curated camping experience, allowing everyone to comfortably share the campsite and connect with one another.

Optional Weekend Activities include:  👣🥾🌿

🌄 Sunday Morning Sunrise viewing at *secret location* - 6am (20min drive away)

🥾🌿 Group Hike: 3.5km return trail to Sunday Creek Reservoir from camp site 10:30am-12:30pm (2hr trail).

🎒 WHAT TO BRING:

- Tent, Matress, Bedding.

- Enough clothing for warm and cold weather, preferrably thermals for overnight. Waterproof jacket and walking shoes.

- Torch and headtorch 🔦

- Camp chair (must) and table (optional)

- Toiletries: toilet paper (must), toothbrush, toothpaste

- Bin bags for any rubbish you must take with you (no bins on site)

- Enough water for drinking, food, dishes etc (no running water on site.

- Cooking items: camp stove, utensils, mugs, plates, cutlery and food to last you for the weekend (closest IGA in wandong - 15mins drive away).

- Insect repellant: as the weather will be warm potential mosquito season.

🐾 Campsite is also dog-friendly

⚠️ If you bring alcohol, please drink responsibly and take your rubbish with you. We will not tolerate drunk, rude or innapropriate behaviour. Please respect the peace of the surroundings and others experience.
