Let's go chasing waterfalls! 💦

Join me this Saturday morning for a scenic loop through the forest around Marysville! We'll set off early to tackle the steep climb up to Keppel Lookout where the views stretch out over the town and the surrounding hills. From there we'll follow the ridge past Oxley and De La Rue lookouts, then wind back down through tall eucalypt forest to finish at Steavensons Falls, one of Victoria's tallest waterfalls. The 11km route should take roughly 3.5 hours at a relaxed group pace, with time for breaks and photos along the way. And if we're lucky, we might hear a lyrebird or two in the gullies! 📅 Saturday 31st October ⏰ 8am–11:30am 📍 Marysville, Victoria ➡️ 11km / approx. 3.5 hours 🥾 Moderate level with a steep stair climb 🎟️ Ticket Price: $20 donation to Wildlife Victoria There are limited tickets available and it's first in, first served so get in quick! 🙏 Please be aware that participants are responsible for their own safety throughout the walk. The trail includes a long, steep stair climb, ridge sections and uneven surfaces that can get slippery in the wet, so a good level of fitness and grippy footwear is essential. Rain is forecast, so please bring a rain jacket and a warm layer, and walking poles are handy if you have them. If storms look likely, we may need to postpone or cancel. Marysville is about a 1.5 hour drive from the CBD via the Black Spur so plan to leave early. Bring enough food and water for the duration of the hike. Please hike responsibly and at your own discretion.

Sells fast: Their plans hit capacity in about 9 hours, so jump in while you can.

I’m someone who lives for hiking, travel and capturing the world through my camera! Oh and and I’m a proud Essendon nuffy 🔴⚫️ · Essendon

As one of the many Melbournians who survived covid, I saw firsthand how the isolation and border closures impacted people’s mental state. Inspired to make a positive change, I started sharing easy and accessible adventures close to the city on Instagram to encourage people to get outside and explore their own backyard. The page quickly grew and I now travel full-time sharing adventures to hopefully inspire others to discover the natural beauty of Australia!
