Join Cook Club LA at West Side Oyster Club for a hands-on oyster shucking workshop in Santa Monica! 🦪
Whether you’re completely new to shucking or want to feel more confident opening oysters at home, this approachable workshop will teach you the fundamentals in a fun, social setting.
The evening will begin with a quick Oyster 101 covering varieties, flavor profiles, sourcing and safe handling. The West Side Oyster Club team will then demonstrate how to properly open and shuck an oyster before helping each guest practice the technique themselves. We’ll be shucking as the sun sets, with water views from West Side Oyster Club.

6:00pm
The oyster shucking workshop begins. Please arrive with enough time to check in and get settled before instruction starts.
After the workshop
Enjoy your oysters, mix and mingle, and stay to order additional food and drinks from West Side Oyster Club.
