Off-Limits Book Club 📚☕

Welcome to a little book club for those who enjoy exploring unconventional ideas, challenging perspectives and reading books that are often dismissed, criticised or considered taboo.

The idea is simple: read with an open mind, think critically and form your own opinions.

We won't automatically agree with everything an author says, nor dismiss their ideas because of outside criticism. We'll explore the arguments, question the perspectives and have open, respectful conversations.

📖 Our first read: The Surrendered Wife by Laura Doyle

A thought-provoking (and certainly divisive!) book about marriage, femininity and relationship dynamics.

☕ Where: Axil Coffee Roasters in Chadstone.

✨ The vibe: Casual, welcoming and judgement-free. Disagreement is encouraged, intellectual curiosity is celebrated, and there's absolutely no pressure to agree with anyone.

🌷 Who it's for: Anyone interested in exploring perspectives outside the mainstream, questioning conventional narratives and having conversations that go beyond the surface. This may actually be a book you agree with more than you initially thought!
