Book club 🤝🏽 apartment bakery (the after-hours one)

Your Thursday night sorted.

Once a month I bake too much and invite strangers (and repeat snackers) into my apartment and we call it book club. Same books, same chaos, same too-much-food energy as the Sunday one, just for the people who can't do mornings, or just want an excuse to skip a Thursday night at home.

July's pick is What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo. A memoir about complex PTSD, about what your body remembers even when you don't, and non-linear healing.

As always, no pressure to finish the book, just a good appetite and energy to yap is all you need.

6:30pm on a Thursday so you've got a reason to leave your desk on time for once. We talk as long as it takes and nobody leaves on time. I'm very proud of that.
