South of Sanguine is assembling the Vampire coven for a night at Montsalvat, one of Victoria’s most beautiful (and unfairly gothic) historic venues.

What is Danse Macabre?

An immersive gothic event blending fantasy, theatre, and nightlife, inspired by the allure of vampire folklore and dark romanticism. Expect a curated mix of live gothic DJ sets, themed photo areas, and candlelight ambience.

Who can come?

Partners welcome. While South of Sanguine is a women and LGBTQIA+ centred space, this invite extends to your vampire fledglings or human blood bags, in case you get hungry.

Dress Code/Attire

Gothic, Victorian, vampiric, or darkly elegant. Costumes aren’t mandatory, but you’ll feel underdressed without one and they’re encouraged to fully immerse yourself and enjoy the experience.
