Girlfriends Screening

Like a book club but less pressure... just show up to a screening and discuss over a casual drink after! Currently just open to women, nb and trans folk.

Our monthly film club meetup is back for November! Hosted at Coping Studio.. we will have a cosy night in watching ‘Girlfriends’ with a debrief afterwards. We will also be watching a short film by one of our own members! (TBA) Bring your bestie or come along solo and make some new friends! There will be some light snacks and tea supplied. Feel free to byo snacks and drinks too!

Attendees are encouraged to arrive between 6:00-6:30 (note: main entrance closes after 6:30) to meet other film lovers and we will settle down around 6:45 to introduce and watch the films. This will be followed by a debrief.

Film description:

When her best friend and roommate abruptly moves out to get married, Susan (Melanie Mayron), trying to be an artist while making ends meet as a bar mitzvah photographer on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, finds herself adrift in both life and love.
