If Practical Magic shaped your childhood and quietly turned you into the witchy woman you are today, then twenty-eight years later, the Owens sisters are back, and so are we. The first Practical Magic taught an entire generation of us that midnight margaritas are a valid coping mechanism and that being a bit strange runs in the blood, not against it.

Sun Theatre is the venue for this one. Charming and ornate, a bit dramatic before the film’s even started, basically one of the only cinemas in Melbourne with the right amount of atmosphere for this.

Here’s how it works: we love a commitment queen, and we need to fill spaces before moving ahead and buying tickets.
