The (no so) traditional dessert workshop

Halo-halo. Literally: mix-mix. There is something quietly radical about a dessert that asks you to build it yourself, layer by layer, before undoing all that work in a single spoonful. Ice, beans, fruit, milk - nothing quite touching until everything does. This workshop is about that act of mixing. Mesa brings the vessel and the hand. Racine brings the flavour philosophy - the French instinct for restraint, the Filipino reflex for abundance, held in the same bowl. We make it together. We eat it together. And somewhere in the process, the distinction between the two cultures dissolves - the way everything does, in something cold and shared. ___________________________________ at DRIP Wed. 3. June 2pm - 4.30 ___________________________________ A KAFÉ WORKSHOP KAFÉ is a two-week residency where café curated by Mesa and Racine, bringing together food, design and craft through the quiet ritual of the café. During the day, the space operates as a café, in the evenings and on weekends, the café transforms into a space for intimate workshops and creative activations, inviting guests to gather, learn and participate in the art of making and hosting.
