Hangout for free, as frengers ✨💫🪩

Hi frengers! 👋 [I got this term from one of my favourite bands, Mew - not quite friends, not quite strangers] This is for those who love a casual hangout, to meet new people (especially if you’re in the East) and don’t mind sitting on the floor / rugs. So I’ve really been wanting to do something more affordable at my own home, where you “pay” by bringing something - so some food, snack, drinks (non-alcoholic), can be home cooked or bought, or offering to clean up - and we just hang out, maybe go on a quick stroll, co-work, play some board games, a bit of karaoke, craft nights, themed movie nights, long yaps. I love hosting but wanted something that takes the pressure off, where you don’t have to perform or be dressed up. No bars needed, we can yap right here. Of course, come prepared to socialise a little bit at least. And as it will be in mine and my partners’ home, I have to pre-approve guests, and ideally you will need to be a friend of a friend, or know someone who has attended our events before. This is also me trying to be more connected to my East-side community as most of the events are currently in the city-ish, but of course everyone is welcomed! Keeping it casual and open for the first one. Then, maybe might add a theme / main activity. ✨🫶🏼
